The highly anticipated DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival, powered by LottoStar, returns to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 21 and 22 September 2024. This year, the Channel O Dance Stage promises to be one of the festival’s hottest attractions, featuring a star-studded lineup of DJs and artists who are set to bring the house down with electrifying beats.
Art, Fashion, and Music Collide in an Explosion of Creativity
In its 11th unforgettable year, the DStv Delicious Festival continues to push boundaries by offering a dazzling fusion of art, fashion, and music. Leading South African and international artists such as Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Thandiswa Mazwai, and Sjava will headline the Main Stage, while the Channel O Dance Stage, hosted by DStv Channel 320, will feature local mixmasters and mixmistresses ready to get the crowd moving.
The Channel O Dance Stage is curated by DJ PH and Shimza through their signature events, (PH)ola Party and U’R, ensuring a top-tier mix of amapiano, gqom, hip-hop, Afro-tech, house, and pop sounds. Expect nothing less than a high-energy outdoor club experience!
Saturday’s Lineup: Non-Stop Party Vibes
On Saturday, the party kicks off at 1 pm with sets from Drihanna and Shilly Mingz, followed by DJs PH and Venom. The crowd will groove to amapiano beats as Kabza De Small, accompanied by Nkosazana Daughter and Mthunzi, takes center stage. As the evening progresses, DJ Kyotic will elevate the energy with Sizwe Alakine (aka Reason) and Focalistic, leading up to Heavy K and Nokwazi’s dynamic performance. The night wraps up with epic sets by Dlala Thukzin and Mac Breezy.
Sunday’s Grooves: A Perfect Festival Finale
Sunday continues the festival vibes with Shamiso and Stoffela spinning summertime bangers before DBN Gogo delivers an Afro set that’s sure to ignite the senses. Deep house fans can look forward to Darque’s grooves, followed by the legendary DJ Kent. As the sun sets, Shimza will take over the decks, reminding everyone why he’s a global sensation. The festival finale will feature Sun-El Musician and Mörda (aka Murdah Bongz), creating the perfect atmosphere to wind down another memorable Delicious Festival.
Art Meets Fashion: A Celebration of Creative Freedom
This year’s festival also introduces the Art Meets Fashion retail platform in collaboration with W&R SETA, celebrating 30 years of creative liberation. Festival-goers can look forward to an immersive experience showcasing fine art, fashion design, bespoke furniture, performance art, and storytelling. The exhibition will include a sculpture garden, fashion shows, an open-air cinema, and more – making it a 360-degree lifestyle festival like no other.
