For the third consecutive year, South Africa’s beloved low-cost airline, FlySafair, is proud to headline the highly anticipated FlySafair Get Lucky Summer Concert Series. Known as the Garden Route’s premier live music experience, this annual event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, bringing together South Africa’s top musical talent for an unforgettable summer celebration.

Now in its eighth year, the Get Lucky Summer series is spearheaded by local live-electronic music legends, GoodLuck, and supported by an incredible lineup that includes Zakes Bantwini, The Parlotones, Jeremy Loops, Jesse Clegg, Prime Circle, and Bok van Blerk, among others.

Dates, Locations, and Atmosphere

Running from 7 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, the series will make stops in Cape Town, Plettenberg Bay, and Knysna. These picturesque locations provide the perfect backdrop for the series’ signature outdoor, sunset concerts.

The events are known for their family-friendly atmosphere, offering fully stocked bars, VIP viewing decks, and a variety of delicious food options. Guests can relax on picnic blankets or dance the night away under the stars while enjoying world-class performances.

Highlights of the 2024-2025 Series

1. Cape Town Launch

The series kicks off on 7 December at Sunningdale Cricket Club with electrifying performances by GoodLuck, Will Linley, and rising stars, the Saxby Twins.

2. Garden Route Magic

The concerts in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna promise a mix of picnic-style setups and vibrant live performances, catering to music lovers of all ages.

3. Afrikaans Music Celebration

The all-new Somer Lied Series takes center stage on 30 and 31 December in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, featuring stars like Bok van Blerk, Jo Black, and Wilma van Heerden, celebrating the richness of Afrikaans music.

4. Plett’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza

Ring in 2025 at the Plett Rugby Fields with an exhilarating lineup including GoodLuck, Jesse Clegg, and Rubber Duc. The festivities will also feature food trucks, beach sports, and a buzzing beer garden for a New Year’s Eve celebration like no other.
