Taking place on the 30th of September 2023 at the bustling heart of Johannesburg in Newtown at the Station ZA, the Jozi Kota Festival kicks off at 10 am, extending the festivities until 10 pm. A family-first event, kids are warmly welcomed until 6 pm, ensuring a wholesome and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Drawing a diverse crowd, including students from esteemed institutions like Wits, UJ, Rosebank College, and many colleges around Braamfontein, the Jozi Kota Festival 2023 is a celebration that unites flavors, cultures, and communities. “The upcoming Jozi Kota Festival event will be bigger and better as we have improved our
services and we expecting to have about 12 000 patrons on the day: We added a Shuttle
services, at no cost to our patrons with a parking ticket, which will transport our patrons
from the Newtown Junction mall parking to the event. We added additional activities mainly
for kids: we added a separate stage, lights, and sound for kids’ entertainment, we also
added a magic Theatre which will be charged at a fee per session. Parents who want to
enjoy the show fully, will have the opportunity to do so as we have child minders in the kid’s
section. With this event we create more than 400 direct Jobs, this assists our government to
