Dubai-based airline expands its luxury offerings
Emirates has made a significant investment in enhancing passenger experience by opening its first-ever lounge outside of Dubai. Located at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the new lounge caters to the growing number of passengers flying on the airline’s triple-daily A380 services.
The US$5.4 million lounge spans 900 square meters and offers a luxurious retreat for first and business class passengers, as well as Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members. With a capacity to accommodate over 190 guests, the lounge boasts a range of seating options, from dining and lounging areas to quiet spaces for relaxation.
Designed with a blend of modern aesthetics and regional influences, the lounge provides a haven of comfort and sophistication. Passengers can indulge in a diverse culinary experience with a buffet featuring Middle Eastern, local, and international delicacies. Additional amenities include luxurious shower facilities and a prayer room.
This latest addition to Emirates’ lounge network underscores the airline’s commitment to providing exceptional service to its premium customers. With seven lounges already in operation across Dubai International Airport and 32 more worldwide, Emirates continues to set the benchmark for luxury travel.
