In an effort to bring an extra touch of joy to their passengers, FlySafair, renowned as the most on-time low-cost carrier globally, is unveiling a second round of captivating cabin artwork. Six talented South African artists, each capturing their favorite facets of the country’s diverse landscapes and cultures, have contributed unique designs. Adding a heartwarming touch, the seventh special edition was created by children supported by FlySafair’s charity partner, Wings and Wishes.
The initiative, launched in 2022 to support local artists and uplift spirits after the challenges of the pandemic, has become a signature feature of FlySafair’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience. Kirby Gordon, Chief Marketing Officer at FlySafair, expressed enthusiasm about bringing back the campaign, emphasizing the power of art to communicate across languages and cultures.
Central to the project are the artists themselves, each with their own distinctive style and a deep connection to South Africa. The diverse range of artworks celebrates the richness of the country’s landscapes and experiences. The designs, converted into aircraft-approved materials, are being installed on selected aircraft interiors, providing passengers with a vibrant reflection of South Africa’s uniqueness.
