It’s that time of the year again! The Rand Show, South Africa’s leading consumer lifestyle exhibition, is gearing up for its most spectacular showcase yet. Packed with exhibitions, entertainment, events, competitions, expos, games, rides, carnivals, and much more, this year’s Rand Show promises to double the family fun after the tremendous success of 2023, where over 80,000 attendees had an absolute blast!

The theme for this year revolves around “bringing families together and uniting South Africans from all walks of life.” Embodying the spirit of the Rainbow Nation, the Rand Show is set to provide an all-encompassing experience that celebrates cross-cultural diversity through its exhibitors, activations, and overarching theme.
Thrilling Experiences Await! For the thrill-seekers, the Adrenaline Zone promises heart-pounding excitement with drifting, 4×4 adventures, and coveted helicopter rides (flips included). Outdoor enthusiasts can also revel in Go-Karting, old-school carnival games, and a variety of exciting rides.
Virtual Reality Unleashed! The Rand Show introduces Virtual Reality to the forefront with the Meta Zone, a mixed-reality event blending the physical and virtual realms, pushing the boundaries of imagination and technology.
Craft Area Delights: Beverage enthusiasts can head to the Craft Area, where locally crafted drinks from distilleries, breweries, and wine farms around South Africa take center stage. Accompanied by some of the country’s finest musical talent, the Craft Area features live performances of original and cover songs.
SMME Summit and Shopping Extravaganza: Other highlights include The Rand Show SMME Summit on March 27, showcasing exhibitors specializing in makeup, fashion, and a plethora of shopping opportunities in the Shopping Hall. Prepare for a diverse range of products and innovations.
Kids Zone Extravaganza: The Kids Zone steals the spotlight with numerous activities, including a Cartoon Network Activation, a Sci-Bono experience with three different shows, interactive robots, a Pedal Power indoor Bike Park, a jump zone, and much more. The Dino Expo promises an immersive display of giant, extinct friends.

Well, I enjoy the street food of course, so many options to try out.
I also love the exhibitions from small businesses like the cool art, and we saw the bird show last time we were there, which I enjoyed 👌🏾

I’d love to take my kids for the holidays. They would enjoy the Go-Karts and kids zone activities. Besides that there’s always something to do, from the food to the exhibitions to shopping, the 4×4 adventures and the free concerts.

I used to go to the rand show a-lot as a child during the Easter holidays. This year, I am looking forward to my children experiencing the nostalgia of this once-a-year event. I am particularly looking forward to the Cartoon Network Activation (they are big fans of the channel) jump zone and the dinosaurs
