Minor Hotels Announces Strategic Partnership with The Cavaleros Group for Debut NH Collection Hotel in Johannesburg

Minor Hotels, renowned for its international presence in the hospitality industry, has recently inked a significant partnership with The Cavaleros Group, marking the inauguration of their NH Collection brand in Africa. The collaboration entails the management of a prestigious hotel situated in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa’s bustling financial district. This landmark agreement not only signifies the advent of NH Collection brand on the African soil but also highlights the strategic expansion plans of both entities.

Commencing from July 1st, 2024, Minor Hotels will assume management responsibilities for the 329-key property, initially operating under the name NH Sandton. Following a comprehensive refurbishment, the hotel will be rebranded as NH Collection Sandton, aligning with the upscale standards synonymous with the NH Collection brand.

Positioned in Sandton, Johannesburg, merely twenty kilometers away from the O.R. Tambo International Airport, NH Sandton boasts a rich heritage of three decades in the hospitality domain. It will offer an array of guest accommodations ranging from lead-in rooms to expansive suites, including the opulent 145-square-meter Royal Suite. Alongside, guests can indulge in culinary delights at two restaurants and two bars, unwind at the executive lounge, host events at the state-of-the-art conference facilities, and rejuvenate at the gym or the expansive outdoor swimming pool.

The Cavaleros Group, an esteemed property conglomerate established in South Africa in 1926, holds a venerable legacy in real estate development and investment.
