Review: Radisson OR Tambo, A Luxurious Oasis Near the Airport

A Perfect Blend of Business and Leisure

A Thursday afternoon escape to the Radisson OR Tambo proved to be an absolute treat. Conveniently located just 13 minutes from the bustling OR Tambo International Airport, this hotel is a haven for both business and leisure travelers.

Our stay in the Junior Suite was nothing short of exceptional. The stunning bathtub was an instant highlight, and the overall room design, with its Scandinavian decor and thoughtful touches, created a truly luxurious ambiance. The attention to detail, from the art pieces to the lighting, was evident throughout.

Setshego Ledwaba, the Marketing and Communications Manager, was an incredible host. Her tour of the hotel revealed a massive space brimming with potential. The various event areas, including those named after local townships, showcased a wonderful blend of business and community.

The culinary experience was equally impressive. The A La Carte restaurant served up delectable salmon and cheesecake, and the opportunity to meet the talented male chef team was a delightful surprise. The Executive Lounge offered a refined atmosphere perfect for unwinding or hosting clients. And the Level Seven restaurant, with its live bands and cigar lounge, promises to be a future favorite.

The Amani Spa & Wellness center was the perfect way to unwind before checkout. The couples massage was pure bliss, and the spa’s overall ambiance was incredibly relaxing.

The Radisson OR Tambo is more than just a hotel; it’s a destination. With its exceptional accommodations, world-class amenities, and impeccable service, this hotel is a must-visit for anyone traveling through Johannesburg.
