Thailand: New Airport Bus Services to Boost Tourist Travel by Year-End

Good news for travelers to Thailand! Thailand’s state-run bus operator, Transport Co, is set to launch convenient bus services connecting three major airports with popular tourist destinations across the country. The new routes are expected to be operational by the end of 2024.

This initiative will provide a seamless travel experience for tourists arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Don Mueang International Airport, and Phuket International Airport. Passengers will be able to easily connect to well-known cities and tourist hotspots like Pattaya, Chanthaburi, Trat, Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), and Hua Hin, eliminating the need for separate transportation arrangements.

Transport Co will establish ticketing offices at the airports, making it easy for travelers to purchase bus tickets and plan their onward journeys within Thailand. This enhanced accessibility is expected to boost tourism in various regions and contribute to the overall economic activity in these areas.

While specific details about the routes and schedules are yet to be announced, the introduction of these airport bus services is a positive development for Thailand’s tourism industry.
